The setting

A family celebration in the heart of Burgundy

Burgundy is a region close to our hearts. To us, it represents far more than wine and gastronomy — it is the friendships we cherish within the community and the rich family heritage behind each estate. Our children are growing up running freely across the lawns and through the vineyards, making this place part of their own story. We would love to share this special corner of the world with you through our eyes.

Please join us for a weekend of festivities, created for both adults and children alike, celebrated in true Halley style.

Getting there

Travel to Burgundy

Beaune is the town center of Burgundy and Meursault is one of the wine producing villages nearby.

We advise families to plan their travels to Europe so that guests are time zone adjusted and can fully enjoy the festivities planned. Please keep us posted of your arrival dates as we would love to include you in our informal casual gatherings prior to the weekend.

By air

For direct flights from HK, fly into Paris or Zurich then travel to Burgundy by car or train. The closest airports are Lyon (1.5 hours by car) or Geneva (2.5 hours by train) but those will require transits from HK.

By train

Paris city center by train will take around 1 hour to Dijon then 30 mins from there to Beaune or Meursault. Note there are direct trains from Paris Airport (CDG) to Lyon but they are infrequent. Zurich Airport by train to Dijon will take around 2.5 hours. It is generally easier to take a train directly to Dijon then arrange for a car or drive from there to Beaune or Meursault. Strongly recommend that trains are booked in advance.

By car

Paris Airport (CDG) to Beaune or Meursault by car takes around 3.5-4 hours depending on traffic. Zurich Airport takes around 4 hours and generally more predictable traffic than from Paris. Rental car outlets are conveniently located at the aiports ot train station.

Chauffeur services

For those interested in driving services, we have a selective list of Chinese or English speaking drivers who can be reserved for your stay. Please reach out for lists to directly reserve with them.
